The appearance of the lanterns and the quality of the light will change with the type of bulb installed. No bulb should be more than 60 Watt. Choose the coolest-burning incandescent or an efficient fluorescent (insure the fluorescent is designed to hang with the socket "up"). Lamp cord will be brown.
